KEDA Terms and Conditions of Use
Version 1.0 — 24 September 2026
English translation of the Spanish original. If there is any discrepancy between the two versions, the Spanish version prevails, without prejudice to the rights granted to consumers by applicable law.
1. Purpose and acceptance
These Terms govern access to and use of the KEDA application (hereinafter, "KEDA" or "the app"), owned by On Project Labs, S.L. (tax ID ESB55466650, registered office at Calle Sierra Nevada, 2, 18210 Peligros, Granada, Spain; hereinafter, "On Project Labs" or "we").
By registering or using KEDA, you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy in full. If you do not agree with them, you must not register or use the app.
2. Description of the service
KEDA is a social app that lets its users create, organise, discover and share leisure plans with other people, and communicate with each other. A plan can be open, by request, or invitation-only, as decided by whoever creates it. Within a plan you can recognise other participants with kudos, and share stories, which stop being shown to other users 24 hours after they are posted. After that period the story remains visible to you, and to our moderation team where necessary, and it is not deleted automatically: if you want it gone, delete it.
KEDA also offers paid features within the app, currently limited to promoting plans, described in clause 8. In the future, KEDA may also offer paid events managed directly by us or events sponsored by third parties; as at the date of these Terms, neither of those features exists.
3. Access and registration requirements
You must be over 18 to register and use KEDA. When you register you declare your date of birth; we do not verify your age against any document and we do not verify your identity, so the accuracy of that date is down to you. Providing a false date in order to access the service breaches these Terms.
You must provide truthful, complete and up-to-date information during the registration process and keep it up to date.
You are responsible for keeping your access credentials confidential and for all activity carried out from your account.
You must use a single personal account. Only one account can be signed in on each device at a time, although you can have your account signed in on several devices; when you change or reset your password, and when you request deletion of your account, sessions open on the other devices are closed. The app does not technically check that the same person does not register more than once: keeping a single account is an obligation you assume by accepting these Terms, and breaching it may give rise to the measures set out in clause 9.
4. Rules of conduct
We apply a zero-tolerance policy towards objectionable content and towards users who engage in abusive behaviour: we remove content that breaches these Terms and we suspend or cancel the accounts responsible, on the terms of clauses 5 and 9.
By using KEDA, you undertake not to:
Post unlawful, defamatory, violent, discriminatory or sexually explicit content, or content that infringes third-party rights, including intellectual and industrial property rights.
Impersonate another person, use third parties' photographs as if they were your own, or create fake profiles.
Harass, threaten, intimidate or discriminate against other users.
Use several accounts to give kudos to another user or to yourself, or to otherwise distort the recognition system between users.
Use several accounts to report the same person or the same content in a coordinated way, or to force the automatic hiding described in clause 5.
Create a new account to circumvent a suspension in force.
Use the app for unauthorised commercial purposes, to send spam, or for mass data extraction (scraping).
Breach or attempt to breach the security of the app, or access third-party accounts without authorisation.
These rules are set out, with examples and more accessible explanations, in our Community Guidelines, available in the app, which form an integral part of these Terms. In the event of any contradiction between the two documents, these Terms prevail.
Breaching these rules may give rise to the removal of the content and to the suspension or cancellation of your account, without prejudice to any other legal action available to On Project Labs or to affected third parties.
5. Reporting and moderation system
You can report content or accounts that breach these Terms using the reporting tools available in the app (stating the reason and, if you wish, a description of what happened; in message reports made on self-harm grounds we do not ask you for a description), and you can block any other user from their profile.
We will act on reported content without undue delay. Reports concerning content that sexualises minors, serious violence or threats, or sexual content shared without the consent of the person affected have absolute priority over any other and are dealt with before all others, removing the content and, where appropriate, suspending or cancelling the account responsible. For all other reports the timescale will depend on their seriousness and on the volume received, and will in all cases be the shortest reasonably possible.
To help us review content more quickly and consistently, we use automated moderation systems. The text and images of plans, posts, comments and stories are analysed before they are published; for videos, a representative image is analysed, not the whole video. Your profile data — username, display name, bio, photograph and links to your social networks — and the text of plan chat messages are not analysed automatically.
In your direct messages and in plan chat messages, the images you send are analysed automatically, as is a representative image of each video. Voice notes are not analysed automatically. Nor is the text of the message: it is only reviewed if you or another user expressly reports it, and it is never analysed proactively. All of the above is without prejudice to review by our team where necessary.
If the provider that carries out that analysis is unavailable at the moment of publication, images and videos are not published and the analysis is retried later. The text you write when creating your account is published, and is queued for us to review afterwards; text in any other case is likewise not published until the analysis can be carried out.
Breaches we detect when reviewing a reported message are recorded, but do not count towards the suspensions described in clause 9.
In addition to automated moderation, a plan, a post or a story is hidden automatically upon reaching 5 reports from other users, and a comment upon reaching 3, regardless of whether our moderation systems have analysed that content. This is a precautionary and reversible measure, not a confirmed sanction.
Content related to self-harm or suicidal thoughts does not give rise to any sanction on your account: no breach is recorded, it does not count towards the suspensions described in clause 9, and we show you support resources. In the content we analyse automatically — plans, posts, comments, stories and the images in messages — that content is not published or delivered. In what we do not analyse automatically, such as message text or voice notes, we cannot detect it or prevent it being sent.
If, alongside that content, our systems also detect a breach of another kind — violence or threats, for example — that other breach is recorded and does count towards clause 9, unless it was detected when reviewing a reported message.
Where several users report content choosing this reason, those reports count in the same way as any other towards the automatic hiding described above, which is a precautionary measure and not a sanction.
Whenever we suspend your account or hide content of yours through any of the routes above, we will tell you the reason for the decision and, where it was made automatically, we will say so expressly.
Where a review of content shows that the facts may constitute a criminal offence — in particular if they affect a minor or amount to a threat to someone's life or safety — we are required by law to report it to the competent authorities, and we will do so whether or not the person affected asks us to. In those cases we will still tell you the reason your content was removed or your account suspended, but we will not inform you of the report to the authorities, so as not to interfere with any investigation. When you report content or a message, we keep a copy of it and protect its files against deletion for the retention period applicable to each case, described in our Privacy Policy.
If we suspend your account and you believe it is a mistake, you have the right to ask from within the app for a person to review the decision. We will resolve your request within a maximum of 3 working days, Monday to Friday, and you will be able to check the outcome in the app itself; while it is being resolved, the suspension remains in force. You may have one request in progress at a time, and you may submit it while the suspension is in force.
If what has been hidden is content of yours and you believe it is a mistake, you can write to us at hola@keda.social and a person from our team will review it, with the possibility of restoring it. We will deal with your request as soon as possible; in this case we do not set a maximum deadline, and we prefer not to commit to one we cannot verifiably meet. None of this affects your right to take legal action.
You can find more detail about these systems, including the categories of data processed and the applicable retention periods, in our Privacy Policy, and a more accessible explanation of how moderation works and how to request a review in our Community Guidelines.
6. User-generated content
You retain ownership of the intellectual property rights in the content you post on KEDA (photographs, videos, texts and other materials). By posting it, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence, transferable only to the extent necessary to operate the service, to store, display, reproduce and distribute that content within the app (for example, showing it to other participants in a plan).
You are solely responsible for the content you post and for holding the necessary rights over it, including, where applicable, the consent of the people appearing in photographs or videos.
7. Geolocation and in-person plans
KEDA facilitates contact between users and the organisation of in-person meet-ups through geolocation features, always activated with your consent. On Project Labs does not take part in, supervise or verify against documents the identity of the people who take part in the meet-ups that occur between users as a result of using the app: when you register we check that the email address is yours and you declare your date of birth, but we do not verify either your identity or your age.
We recommend taking reasonable precautions before attending a meet-up organised through KEDA: choosing public, busy places, telling someone you trust about your plans, and not sharing bank details or making payments to other users, bearing in mind that KEDA does not offer any payment feature between users. On Project Labs accepts no liability for what may happen during those meet-ups, without prejudice to the legal obligations applicable in each case.
8. Payments and in-app purchases
Certain features within KEDA may require payment. The app shows the reference price in euros before starting a purchase, but the final price — with applicable taxes and in your store's currency — is the one shown in the App Store confirmation window, which is what you are charged.
In-app purchases are handled through the Apple App Store, using the RevenueCat platform, and through Google Play when available. On Project Labs never stores the full details of your payment method.
Plan promotion products (featured visibility for 1 day, 7 days or 30 days) are digital content supplied immediately after purchase. By confirming the purchase, and in accordance with article 103.m of the Spanish Consolidated Text of the General Law for the Defence of Consumers and Users, you expressly request that the service begin immediately and acknowledge that, as a result, you lose your right of withdrawal once the service has been fully performed.
On Project Labs does not guarantee any particular outcome (for example, a minimum number of views, requests or attendees) from promoting a plan.
The "Sponsored" label that may appear on a plan indicates only that the person who created it has purchased one of the promotion products described above to give it greater visibility for a period. It does not mean that the plan is sponsored by a brand or by any third party other than its creator.
In-app purchases are made through Apple (App Store) and, when available, Google (Google Play), which act as merchant of record for that purchase. Cancellations and refunds for those purchases are requested directly through their respective platforms, in accordance with their own policies; On Project Labs does not handle and cannot authorise those refunds.
If in the future KEDA offers paid events managed directly by us or events sponsored by third parties, the cancellation and refund conditions will be stated at the time of contracting, respecting the rights granted to consumers by applicable law, and events sponsored by a third party will be clearly and unambiguously identified as such.
9. Suspension and cancellation of accounts
On Project Labs may suspend or cancel your account, in whole or in part, in the event of a breach of these Terms, fraudulent use of the service, or at the request of a competent authority. You may request deletion of your account at any time from the app settings or by writing to hola@keda.social; when you do, your account becomes inactive immediately, your sessions are closed and your profile stops being visible to others. You will be able to recover it for at least 30 days; after that period recovery remains possible until the deletion process runs, which is launched several times a day. If you recover your account, your home location is not restored, because it is deleted at the moment you request deletion.
After that period we delete your profile, your login account and the data that identifies you, irreversibly, and we delete your own content: your stories, your saved items, your followers and following, your photograph and the plans you created in which no one else is taking part. What is not deleted, but stops being associated with your identifying data, is the messages you exchanged with other people, your posts and comments in plans, the plans you created in which other users are taking part, and the files that remain part of that content. We do this because that content forms part of other people's conversations and plans. The Privacy Policy sets out what else is kept because of a legal obligation, for security reasons or as moderation evidence, and for how long.
Where the suspension results from our automated moderation system, it is applied in tiers and without prior human intervention: if your account accumulates 3 or more pieces of content blocked by our automated systems within a period of 30 days, we will apply a temporary 7-day suspension; if it reaches 5 or more within that same period, the suspension will be permanent. We will tell you the reason, which in this case is the number of breaches accumulated during the period; you may request the detail of the content that gave rise to them.
Two clarifications about that count. The same breaches only give rise to one temporary suspension: once the 7-day suspension has been served, 3 new breaches would be needed for another one, and if your account is already suspended a second temporary suspension is not started. And breaches detected when reviewing a reported message are recorded but do not count for these purposes.
In either case, you may request that a person review the decision as described in clause 5; the suspension remains in place while your request is being resolved.
10. Service availability and liability
KEDA is provided "as is" and "as available". On Project Labs does not warrant that the service will be free from interruptions or errors, although it will use reasonable means to seek its correct operation.
To the extent permitted by law, On Project Labs will not be liable for indirect damages arising from use of the app or from the conduct of other users, without prejudice to the liability applicable in each case under consumer protection legislation.
11. KEDA intellectual and industrial property
The software, the design, the "KEDA" trade mark and other elements of the app belong to On Project Labs, S.L. or its licensors, and are protected by intellectual and industrial property legislation. Their reproduction, distribution or exploitation without express written authorisation is prohibited.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may amend these Terms to adapt them to legal, technical or service changes. Each version is identified by a number and a date shown at the top of the document. We will inform you of any substantial change with reasonable advance notice through the app and, where the change requires it, we will ask you to expressly accept the new version. Continued use of KEDA after the changes take effect will imply acceptance of them.
13. Applicable law, jurisdiction and dispute resolution
These Terms are governed by Spanish law. For the resolution of any dispute arising from their interpretation or performance, and without prejudice to the rights that consumer legislation grants to users who qualify as consumers to bring proceedings in the courts of their domicile, the parties submit to the Courts and Tribunals of Granada.
If you qualify as a consumer and reside in the European Union, you may turn to the national alternative dispute resolution bodies for consumer matters (in Spain, the Juntas Arbitrales de Consumo), whose directory can be consulted at consumer-redress.ec.europa.eu, before bringing legal proceedings.
14. Contact
For any question about these Terms, including communications relating to content moderation under Regulation (EU) 2022/2065 on Digital Services, you can write to us at hola@keda.social, which acts as our single point of contact for these purposes.
